Must be a sapphire thing; put a 150 miles on each car today as summer will disappear before we know it. What a mess

I didn't do that many miles today, but I did cruise for about an hour. I have to take my old 72' Nova SS for a spin before the weather doesn't permit. You just gave me some incentive. The only thing is, I hate dropping $8.25/gal. for 110 octane Cam 2 race fuel to drive the car. I'll do it anyway! :2tu: :drive: BTW, I love your "Road Brick" expression! I often refer to the Nova as having the aerodynamics of a garbage truck.

As long as you remove them before they have time to etch into your paint it is all good. Bugs are very acidic and will etch your paint if they are left on for any length of time or baked in the sun. But of course I am sure you already know this. Looks like it was a fun day. :2tu:

Nothing like Sapphire.

To heck with the bug pic...let's see more of the 'runner! (Or is it a GTX?) Looks sweet. Having had two Superbirds in the past...I'm a sucker for a 1970 B body.

Sweet '70 'runner indeed. I had a 440-6 B5 Superbird years ago...still a sucker for that color.

Pic from Carlisle is cool too. I entered my '72 this year in the SME. Scored 97.5 out of 100. Missed being the highest scoring car by .25 point. (When I got my sheet, I found they deducted for incorrect things...that were correct) Not bad for a slant six powered car!

Love the 70 Runners. I was originally going to get a 70 Runner but I ended up finding the Viper first!:D

Nice clean car.:2tu:

Also, I do not seem to see the yellow bug guts on my car..... :D

Those bugs are why I run a Mopar front bra. Remove the bra and all the bigs are gone.

I collect more bugs than that in the 15mi. to my store. What ****** me off is the 1.4mi. of gravel that covers my car in dust before I'm out of my driveway.

Driving to V0I? I am.
