better tires?

have any of you found a better tire than the Sports?
I am looking for better off the line grip for me 2000 ACR, but there is not much out there in 335/30R18's. who has used the comp TA's? or the P-zero's?

I would go for the few remaining MXX3s on the planet.

I just switched to the new pilot sports on my 97 gts & et improved .10 to 12.2 on a bone stock car w/26k miles. I was running 25 psi & did a short chirp for a burnout. 1100 rpm launch. There was a consistant improvement across the board & my times were very consistant even though the temp & cloud cover were ever changing & very very humid. Atlanta dragway is over 1500 ft elevation if I am not mistaken

I have the P-Zeros on 18" rims, personally, I like them better than any of the michelins, at the drag strip or for autocross. I'm usually under 2.0 for 60', plus I'm running higher gears in the rear end.
