John:

Actually, it is a cooking forum, not a car forum.

Photoshop the photo by changing contrast, saturation, brightness...wait, just reshoot it.

Click on my name and see how easy it is to make it look as though black is easy to maintain. Immediately after the photo was taken, my car turned grey.

Seriously, beautiful car. The guys who delivered mine told me that hands down "our favorite is triple black."

Then, again, they tried to steal my mail box. Go figure.

Actually, I really liked my red car; it was more in-your-face, but black is extremely classy..sleek.

I do not mind cleaning it. Likely I shall order some Zaino products...or Turtle Wax.

One thing you can say about a black Viper is that for the 11 seconds after it is spotless, it is gorgeous, and then... you start over again.

While we are on this topic...are we? How many Black Mambas made it out of the U.S.? Anyway to know?

Alan:

Sorry, what I meant was "how many of these 200 remained in the U.S.?"

When you consider likely buyers: Great Britain, Australia...South American cartels...Iraq... How many of each Mamba were retained in the U.S.

Black is nice. I considered black when I bought my current RT but I just could not resist yellow. However, nothing looks better than a black car when it is clean.

Don't want to spoil the fun... Would it be too hard to post 1 or 2 pics of the Cobra in here? Love that paint-sheme...

Anyone with a black car absolutely must buy a California Duster. As the (former) owner of two black cars, the CD kept them pollen and dust free between washes with no hassle whatsoever. A must have.

They are Superformance Cobras. They are complete replicars, you order them less motor and transmission. ( turnkey minus ) They are of extremely high build quality. Superformance has replicated the original Cobras exterior, while updating the chassis and 4 wheel independant suspension to modern day specifications.
There are no used parts used in their build and since you are buying them less motor and transmission, they are exempt from most of the EPA regulations and can be titled as model year 1965. They weigh in at 2450 lbs with motor and transmission installed. Mine has a 418 stroker motor. It originally dynoed at 524 hp. but with tuning it is now making over 550 hp.
I have over 2200 miles on mine and just love it. :2tu:
