a buddy of mine just purchased his m6 and while eating lunch with him, he handed his keys and told me to take it around the block.

ended up going onto the highway and floored the car rolling in second gear in m mode. the car certainly is fast but doesnt have the torque to shove your body into the seat.

after arrive back we talked a bit and showed him what the viper has to offer. as i made a turn to go downhill i floored my car from first to third needless to say, he was speechless. so much in fact he pissed himself as the back wheels broke loose.

ended up going to winners and bought him new pants and a trip to the laundry and had them steam clean my seat. good as new.

said my car was way too unsafe

btw this is a gen3 with a few mods. cant wait too see how the new vipers perform.

oh and this was the hill i went down.

Floored it on that hill? around a curve? Blind curve? I would likely have pulled the E-brake and walked.

Ignoring the ******* element of the story for the moment, but when I saw the thread title it made me think of a similar experience I gave a friend of mine...also with a M6. He is really into his car and has lots of Dinan mods (no doubt it's an awesome car), but I took him for a little ride in my Gen 4 and let the tires smoke in first and second (going in a straight line) and he came away with HUGE respect for the Viper. he kept talking about the torque and the "wildness" of it all. lol.

Small curve that turned into a straight. Halfway through the turn is when I flored it

A lot of my friends trash talk about my viper but it's all blah blah blah to me. The best part is when I get to drive them and watch the trash talk turn to omg

There are two kinds of people that drive like that on the street. Those that have crashed and those that are going to.

I hope you don't hurt anyone else.

I drove an M6 vert with a couple mods (exhaust, tune, etc..). I wasn't impressed at all.
The drive-by-wire totally killed responsiveness to me... like I was overriding cruise-control or something.
