The day after I had the lower part of my front fascia repainted on my 04 Mamba, I immediately curbed it at Burger King. So I got this idea of ordering some 2” wide side molding and installing it there. Saved thepaint many times. So I did the same onmy 2010 white vert and thought I would share the technique . This will save thepaint some of the time and its cost effective ( around $30). I’m sure this might help any low clearance car.

Pretty clever idea. Thanks for sharing.

I've trained myself to remember that the front end is longer than I think.

I still rub going up and down my driveway so my front end is pretty messed up but if i repaint i might try this.

I parked alongside a civic sedan and when I looked over I saw that my seat was in-line with the back seat passenger, so I use that as my parking guide whenever possible.

thanks for sharing. Great idea...Try and go easy at 150mph+.....we wouldn't want you to 'lift' off :)

Seriously thanks. Great idea, I wish I had done this awhile back.....

I'm careful as I can be but sometime I misjudge and scrape the underside of the front facia.
What I use is a nice smear of black wax (Zymol) under there, works like a charm.
