Do you consider a Paxton a bolt on? I suppose it is since it doesn't require any internal mods to the engine. Well if you do, here's my numbers.

Name: gbatejan
Year 2006 FE Coupe
RWHP/RWTQ 647/599
Dyno: Dynojet
Mods: Paxton, Random Tech High Flow Cats, Corsa Exhaust, Catch can breather, Race Logic Traction Control, 2009 6 spokes, PS2s, StopTech rotors, PLX OBD2 DM-100 gauge with left/right wide bands, Kenwood pop out DVD, 2008 hood, trailer hitch.

I am still amazed at the power these cars put down. How many other cars put down 500+ hp with simple I/H/E and a tune without costing 200k+

I used to belieave this as well till I went to the C6Z06 forum on corvetteforum and did a search..I was thinking about makeing a bolt on only rwhp list for them...but I couldnt find any acual 500 plus rwhp dynos with just bolt ons..

I found plenty of 470's..480's..and a few 490's from bolt ons..But no 500 plus rwhp...

Now with a cam plus bolt ons they have plenty in the 500 plus rwhp range..but a cam is not a bolt on.

My friend has a 2007 Z06 with a cam/intake/tune and he only hit 500 rwhp sae

I agree completely..I belieave that if someone actually did every single bolt on their is and went to a dyno jet that they could hit 530 rwhp SAE..

530 rwhp is very close to the ROE gen2 guys who do the base kit and hit 540-550 rwhp..

Even the number 1 spot at 521 rwhp could have a ported intake...under drive pulley... exhaust

I tried to talk him into it but he already had bigger plans with head work ect.

Check the few specs from Washington VCA's Dyno day. Mustang dynos read about 10% higher than a Dyno-jet so you can extrapolate which Dyno's were used just by the numbers in your list. But there were 3 or more Gen3 listed on the thread in the Wash regional forums.

C-note missed this year, but I think his ID is about 720rwhp on the Mustang dyno

Ive seen tune only z06'***** 470rwhp with a RWTD tune, that guy can tune a car. Your buddy must have a weak cam or a sad tuner.

If you wanna get techinical my 2003 viper was 473 rwhp with just intake/roller rockers on a dyno..

But guess what. the numbers were corrected and it was only 459 rwhp sae..

stock z06 is 430-460 rwhp depending on the engine tolerance build and the type dyno used as well as the kool down period before running the number..

Invest the 12 hours it takes to generate a good 20 plus person list of bolt on Z06's like I did for these Vipers...

Then tell me how many you find at 500 plus rwhp with only bolt ons..

I invested 2 hours on the vette forum searching ect. and found nothing and decided if they arent hitting 500 rwhp then it wasnt worth my time..

I just took a glance over at my old stomping grounds and look what I found. With a good tune its easy to get those cars to eclipse 500rwhp. Like I said your buddy needs a new tune. Probably is running a mail order tune.

two of those are vendors who dynoed their own product on their own dyno and have no merit with me..real peoples results or nothing..

But 1 of those appears to be a true 501 rwhp bolt on Z06 from a real owner. I stand corrected as I thought they didnt exist after my searching...THANKS
