For those that have not seen the post on the VOA. If you have the Corsa oem tires or use any soft compound tire it only takes a few thousand miles and the paint on the front lip of the rocker (inside the front wheel well) looks like someone took 40 grit sand paper to the finish. On my car after a couple of thousand miles the paint (in the described area) was already ruined.

It took a little time and effort, however, I designed a small non-obtrusive mud flap that cover the area that gets beat the most. I just picked up the first production run. These are going to be sold by Mark J at Woodhouse. Even if it is too late to save the finish, the flap looks far better than the blasted finish. Ideally, putting them on a new car is the best option. Why Boomerang - because the flap looks like a small Boomerang.

For some reason the picture "uploader" is not working, I will try to add pics tomorrow.

I purchased a set of those several years ago for my Gen IV. They were very effective and reasonably priced.

Installed using the existing fasteners on the fenders.

Are your protectors a copy of those?

Has the original guy stopped making them?

Similar concept, yet, look less obtrusive

The "basic uploader" keeps viewing my 100 kB files as 6mB and disallows the upload. There are some good pics on the VOA site.

Are we going to get to see a pic of them and a point of contact or link to get them? I'm interested!

Do a search on the VOA and vca for center caps, he is a member. If I find his info I will post it. He was excellent to deal with.

I need these..
I cooked and got my hubby to invite friends over to help put them on. It took only about 1 hour. It might have taken them less time but I also set them a few beers
out. Lol, anyway, they look great hardly notice them at all.

I really like those a lot. I didn't know there was a flap for the back. I wanted a set for the back, but wasn't aware there were any out there. Do you have to buy them as a set? Or can you purchase separately? They look great!

uh... if you are responding to my post above... I'm not sure if the initial thread poster has made one for the back or not but....

I just made mine by cutting a generic rubber one... if you want, I can send you an exact template of what I made with the screw holes marked..and you can get the same one from jc whitney for a few $ and cut it out to any shape you want with a dremel... modify it to longer, shorter, wider, whatever....heck, and even paint it to your body color....
let me know if you want the basic "template"....
I made front ones too but having problem uploading the pics....
