Day three with new Borla exhaust, about 100 miles now. I tried to feel the difference after install, convinced myself I did, tonight I know the diffence. I was driving with a friend who has a 360 Modena, I could gently pull away from him before. Tonight the smell from the new exhaust had left, and as we hit the interstate I rolled redline to redline when the exhaust note became louder, throatier, and deepened. The car launched like it was kicked in the a$$. I now walk away from the Modena, and not subtly. I think the wrapper is off.

Highway mileage with carbon box is 1-2 mpg better than stock box with flat K&N's. Increased seat of the pants feel is noticable with the carbon box. I like the faint hiss I hear at idle too.

I purchased a Borla system for my ZR-1 and it too was like a fine wine - unfortunately sold before its time. Glad to hear you have had better luck. Is it a cat-back system? Did you go catless?

The system is cat back. I want to keep it a 4 point Viper Days car even though it is hard to resist the idea of flames shooting out my tail. I will have it at Mid Ohio, see you there Rich.
