'03 Silver SRT-10 (new). Picked it up at a local dealership for $75.6 out the door. Probably could've gotten it cheaper elsewhere but I'm still happy with the deal.

Gorgeous car and congratulations! A car is worth only what someone is willing to pay for it. I would say you did just fine.

alright guys, I'm at 600 miles in my first week. Should have 1k total by Monday, then I'll get the oil changed and find out what it's like above 4k rpm  . Traded in my '02 C5 vert for this and boy are these two totally different cars. Like night and day.

When I bought the mamba I had a 700 mile trip home so I had them put a proective film on the front and rear for the trip home.

Break-in on the new Vipers, per PVO/SRT (and quoted again in this issue of VIPER magazine), is 500 miles. You are free right now! I dyno'ed mine at 540 miles, just to give you an idea of the "post break-in" ritual... ;)

I traded in my 02 C-5 vert too, on an 04 SRT. Good trade.

Gents, I wished I would have payed more attention to this thread but I've been out driving my new car all week. I'm over 900 miles now so I guess I'll take her down to the dyno this week. If I'd a been paying attention, I could've dyno'ed her on Thursday. All this time the owners manual said 1k miles... Maybe that's just them playing it safe. I just ordered the k&n package from PartsRack! So, I'll do a before and after dyno with the k&n filter package like Y2K3SRT did, maybe I'll space the pulls out about 100 miles or so apart to see if the computer tweaks the gains a little more. Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome.:)

I saw you on Montano a couple of days ago! Car looked good. I am still getting used to the Gen.III looks. Every time I see one I like it better. I think sliver is a good color on the SRT-10. You should join our NM Viper club,we have 2 or three SRT-10's in the club.

KenricGTS,
I'd like to join the NM club. Other than firing off the application to VCA is there anything else I need to do? I've heard the VCA response can take up to 2 months.
