I had my stock rims on my 96 Chrome plated and I can't seem to go on a trip for a day without having my rims turn dusty black, Does anyone know where I can get some shields for my problem? seems more on the front than back.

thanks

I think your best bet is to get a California Car Duster and dust them after you drive. My understanding of the dust shields is that they trap heat severely.

I haven't tried it myself yet but a couple of Vette guys I know shoot their rims with anti-static spray (I think 3M sells it)and claim it really helps. Seems there is a static electricity charge on the brake pad particles and that causes them to stick to the rims. I am going to give it a try when I can find some of the stuff.

If you don't plan to road race your car then EBC Green's will almost completely eliminate brake dust problems.
