Just curious... Looking for comments about the Brambo brakes, is this the first year for them on the SRT? Standard dead pedal on the 08'. This will be my first car with a dead pedal, is it a matter of personal preference?

Brembo has been the brake supplier for the Viper forever. It's possible that they calipers are now labeled "Brembo" instead of Viper to take advantage of Brembo's performance reputation. As fas as I know the brake system remains the same as the Gen III. (Why mess with success - it's a PHENOMENAL system)

The dead pedal is nice - but you don't have to use it if you don't like - it is adjustable for proper / comfortable positioning.

I think I remeber the SRT guys saying in the last tech question/answer session online, that they were leaving brakes alone. Like Janni said, they stated, "Why change something that is near perfect". I think the Gen 3 brakes are great,so i dont see a reason to change them.

And the dead pedal is actually removable as I recall - plenty of room to stretch out your left leg if you prefer it that way...
