I've got the stainless 3 extension (3 finger?) bumper guard. Not sure who makes them but they use the existing screws. I have a hard time tying my shoes but I installed this in 5 min. Highly recommended and sure protects the underneath side of the bumper.

I should have known.
"If It Fits On or In A Viper, PartsRack Probably Has It."
You could run over your mother-in-law and not scratch your bumper with this guard.

I have had Sean's lower edge guard portion on my car for YEARS. Is it tired? Yep. Is it scraped up a bit? Yep. Do I need to get under there every once in a while and squeeze it to fit tightlt? Yep. Has it been into triple digits (on a closed course...of course)? Yep. And it is still there. I buy the door edge guards at pep Boys (the short ones about 4-5 inches long) and put them out at the curved edges. THOSE stick around too....though I have lost one or two of them.

Anyone have any pics? I cant see much from the pic on parts rack. I want to make sure it is not visable from the front.

Still confused Keith! I have had mine installed for 2 years and love this thing. I have never bottomed out as you say but I sure have scraped a bunch of times and the guard takes all of the punishment and not the bottom of the fascia. I don't see how you can actually puncture the bumper.

I agree with IEATVETS. First of all, you can't see it unless you are on your hands and knees looking for it. Second, it takes all the abuse your bumper would be taking. If your ever hit anything with enough force to push this upward into your bumper, your bumper would have been ruined regardless whether this guard was in place or not. For all practical purposes, this guard is going to protect not destroy.

I have never used one myself. But, I have read several posts like this one claiming that it poked through the bumper. Could be incorrectly installed??
