buying 97 GTS need help, inspection Virginia

Hello All,
I have been in negotiations with a used car dealer in VA on a 1997
GTS. The place is called autos by design, or Sportscars4less.com.
After working thru the price issue, I ran a carfax and it came back with a lot
of title transfers and listed some auctions. Originally the car is from PA,
where I am located, but it has been in virginia for some time. It wasn't
titled until 1999 by the looks of things. It is low mileage, 8800, and the
carfax details yearly mileage so it looks legit. Would anyone be interested
in checking it out for me in VA. IT would be so greatly appreciated!!!!!
I have the carfax file and could email it to anyone who is really familiar with these, and knows what to look for when viewing and would appreciate any feedback/comments. I am trying, trying, trying, to get a car
and be one of the owners, rather than just lurking in the forums...but,
there is so much information here, you guys are helping me ask all the right
questions, that many of the cars are eliminated. Thanks so much for any/all

Be very careful on this one. It sounds like the same car I called them on back in Oct '02 (saw it on ebay). I ended up buying a new GTS for a variety of reasons. In any event, never saw the car in person but it seems strange that the car is still there. The car I was looking at was red. Believe George Murray lives down that way.
