Hey man, thanks for the tip when shutting the hood! Your car is looking good by the way! So did you just jack the car up and stick the new wheels on, nothing else you had to do besides that? Did it raise the ground clearance a lot with the new wheels? I really want my car to stay as low as possible, like how it is now with the 17s or did you actually have the car lowered a little bit after the new wheels were put on?
Also what year is your car? If its a 97 I can see why your viper gts logo's are colored white or silver on the sides and rear. On the 96, they are the same color as the car and don't really stand out, which I don't like as much...
I had someone else put the wheels on because I had new tires put on at the same time and I don't have the equipment. I didn't have it lowered because my car had a tendency to scrape coming out my driveway and the 20's stopped that. It raised it a little, but not a ton.
PS: It's a 96. I bought new emblems and had them match the stripes.
PPS: It's a love it or hate it look. I needed to get my stock wheels refirbished, and by the time it was all said and done I figured I might as well just get new rims.. and I'm not going to spend 4G's on rims that nobody would notice are aftermarket. Plus, I'm 20 years old, so I'm still into the flashy-look.
