For those traveling early (Thursday 21st) or staying late (Friday 22nd) we will make Greektown Casino - Hotel as our host hotel.

CAAP Plant tour is at 11:00AM

Lunch - after tour at Buddy's Pizza - Auburn Hills

Arrow Racing Engines tour is at approx. 2:30PM

Any VCA member that would like to attend the tours are welcome.

As always, all VCA members are welcome at all VCA Ohio events!

Since we have 64 people already signed up and a max. of 50 for the tour..... we are working on having an extra tour for CAAP and Arrow on Thursday March 21st, 2013. Hopefully people on the waiting list can go on Thursday March 21st.

I'll keep everyone posted on this thread. I should have something concrete in the next two days.

Any future CAAP tours in April, May, or June ? Back from practicing medicine in New Zealand (just be glad you are here for now....do not know about the future with Obamacare). Returning to Hawaii for second time to work in Honolulu.....it has been in interesting taking a year out to step out of private practice medicine. I need to return soon to reality and my ACR.

Was wanting to go with wife and son but then later realized it said "18 yrs and older"... bummer
He's really good with respecting cars and paint jobs etc., but rules are rules I guess... kid is not happy about it.
So now count me in as interested in the Thursday thing. I'll probably just forget the hotel and drive up-n-back myself now if it works out.

Just got word today from the plant and they are not able to do the Thursday March 21st tour.

The extra tour will be on Tuesday March 19th, 2013. I will know that tour time tomorrow.

I was really looking forward to this. But I found out that I got bumped to the Tuesday tour which there is no way I can make. Any chance there can be another friday tour setup or a tour in the morning and one in the afternoon on Friday?

That was my first request ( a morning and afternoon tour ) when I was told about the 50 max for the tour. They couldn't do two tours on Friday. The only day they could do an extra tour was on that Tuesday. Very sorry.

Yeah, I can't make it on Tuesday either and apparently I never made it on the Friday list. I'll be in Ohio that weekend anyway since the trip was already planned...
