Yeah I know its not a viper but I always wanted one and if it looks as good as it sounds I am going for it! What I am looking for is a honest asthetic evaluation of the exterior and interior. I expect with only 3800 miles for this car to be in near showroom condition..

gtsreddog, the original clutches in these cars were racing clutches and did not stand up to stop and go traffic. Thats why the clutch replacement to cf clutch has to have been done..Perfectly normal for these cars...

Now..Will somebody out there in Reno please help me, this is the perfect color combo for that Badboy!

That Lambo will look awesome in your Viper Pit. Now you better go install a few more boilers to pay for that bad boy Oh and when it is time for winter. Absolutely normal.It is exactly as Adam said,these cars were not meant for stop and go.The clutch problem was not fixed until the last of Satin and Son in 2001.There has got to be some Viper guys in reno to take a peek.It would be fun!!

I have always loved those cars. If you've got the cash and the car checks out ok, then I say go for it. Just be sure to post some pictures of that bad boy sitting next to your Viper. Good luck.

89 anniversary hardly ever go for under 80k.I know of 6 for sale,ranging from 85-109.You must be thinking of another year.Its a solid 82-85 car with the miles.

Adam, if it's your year and color then go for it. It's beautiful! BUT, as a seasoned ebay guy I hope you have emailed the sellor and probed the heck out of him on the phone!! He's showing two different houses in his pictures, one that rivals Jerry DeYoungs and the other that looks like a $50,000 ranch with a $9,000 bass boat out front. That does not match up with a guy who says I keep my jets somewhere. Let me tell you, if a guy has multiple jets he is NOT advertising HIMSELF on ebay. He is selling through a broker. BEWARE!!! Do not buy without going there and checking it out yourself!

Having looked into it in 2001 when I picked up the Viper, I'd have to say he has a very fair asking price, but you'll need to figure on spending 48 hours in Nevada to seal the deal. ...consider using a local escrow office to help. (The car is in "my company's AND my name". - yeah, an how do you prove legal signing authority for that transfer?)
