Some of us over the pond are desperate for some of the rear wheel arch rivets.

Dodge does not provide them as a spare , which is typlical as to get the rear arch liners out the manual tells you to drill them out.

They are a Ford part #388442-S100 bumper rivets.

Can or would anyone in the USA get us a hand full and put them in the post I will glady pay postage etc:2tu:

Should also have said these are such small bits that companies in the US don't even answer your email.

Thanks guys

Paul:

Are you talking about the metal pop-rivets that goes through the lip of the rear 1/4 panel or the plastic ones inside the liner?

You must be talking about the metal ones since the plastic ones can be removed by pulling the head out.

For the metal ones, my part book for 2000 MY show the following

Size part #
.250 X .375/.562 6034 844
.250 X .060/.250 6034 578

For the size, the first number is the diameter and the other ones the grip range.

If you need the plastic rivets,( that are not serviced by dodge) since you're in England, go to your local Jaguar parts dept and order part # KRB 100002

My sister in Law is a Ford Engineer in the replacement parts division, and I learned this today and am passing it along.

Your 388442-S100 has been superceded by 388442-S309. Also, The European Ford FINIS# is 3748817.

There is thousands in stock throughout the system. Believe it or not this part had its origins in the 1973 Pinto and Bobcat.

First we screw you on rivets, now we got Beckham! :lmao:

Glad JonB got you hooked up, now all is well...

Cheers!

ps..Sadly, I think even Chelsea's watered down vacation team will beat Galaxy next week, even with Beckham aboard.
