You'll need two jacks because you have to disconnect the rear trans mount to get enough angle to clear the front cross member. But BE CAREFUL it gets a little tipsy with two jacks! I have done it.
I removed the cam in my Gen2 with a single jack after unbolting the engine mounts, but the cross member was removed. I had about a half inch of clearance before the cam hit the AC condensor. (I had to unbolt the top of the AC condensor and lean it forward a bit to clear the cam from the engine.)
