I HAVE A 94 RT10 WITH STOCK RIMS. I TALKED TO A MAN THAT WORKS ON VIPERS AND HE SAID THAT IT WILL MAKE THE RIM WEAK AND OR BREAK. IS THIS TRUE? HAS ANYONE ELSE TRIED IT?

My rims are chromed, and I haven't seen or heard of any problems. Just make sure you get them done by a good shop, otherwise the chrome will start peeling off within a year or so.

Easy to clean. Zaino on all four wheels, scrub when I wash. Dry with a leaf blower. Very low maintains.

The three spoke wheels are already structurally compromised. All the rears have or will have abnormal amounts of runout. The chroming process can exacerbate any existing stress risers. If you are going to chrome them I would have a them tested afterwards to detect any areas that contain microscopic stress risers
