CANCELLED: NoVA Cow Country Cruise and Buffet - August 22nd

Hello All,
On Sunday, August 22nd we will have the Northern Virginia Cow Country
Cruise and Buffet. For those of you who attended this cruise and brunch
last time, you know what a great venue this is and the cruise is LOTS of
fun. The weather forecast right now is mid-80's...a perfect day to go
******* for those with RT/10s and SRT verts!

We will meet at Ferrari of Washington at 10:00 and depart at 10:30.
Brunch will be at the Skyline Terrace at Charles Town Races and Slots at
1:00 PM and we will once again have private parking right outside the
valet station. For those bringing kids under 18, there's no problem with
them coming to the casino, they just have to stay with you on the pathways
to and from the restaurant (i.e. they can't run around in the casino or
sit in your lap while you play the slots. ) The buffet is $25 per
person, which includes gratuity and tax. Drinks are NOT included in that
price.

I'm gonna try and do the cruise...I don't think I'll be able to stay for lunch though. Gotta be back to Crofton for work at 3pm!

Damn I wish I could go, it sounds great. However, a buddy of mine just got back from Afganistan and me and a bunch of friends are going to Red Eyes Dock Bar to welcome him home.

Agreed. For safety (and limited attendance), we are going to cancel the event today and look at a different weekend.

I'm almost glad the weather didn't look good for this event....

As it turns out, I couldn't be there anyway... (as is usual for me on weekends)...

Today (Monday 8/23) was another story!! There are benefits to being free on weekdays in this area. The roads were clear and the odo has another 200+ on the meter.....

I hope to make it out when this is cruise is re-scheduled...
