I have looked at Canada conversions and the thought pattern I received was you can't verify 100% the miles on the car. When the vehicle was converted...who is to say the guy was slipped a few under the table to take off 10k miles. I found a 8 out of 10 in FL. if you want one. Its a 96 red gts with low miles for 46,900.00 I think the dealer was Jenkins auto sales. The car was looked at by a member here and the car was in good shape. The front lower part of the bumper was painted and the rear tires were replaced.

Here is the link to the thread about the car. the link to the dealership is there too.

Good luck!

I imported a Canadian version, and here's what you'll get:

A 100% Viper with metric gauges (Km/hr, degrees C, and bar that I changed to US units with parts from Paul Scharf.)

I have a '94, so the Canadian seatbelts were the type that come with airbag cars (roll up over the center console.) The US version in '94 has the roll-up reels in the door, which I had installed to import into the US. (But I really, really like the Canadian type better... ;)

There should be an EPA letter certifying emissions performance and a DOT letter certifying occupant safety performance as part of the import papers, whether there were any changes made to the car for import or not. Get these!!

The only thing to check for, since you already know the history, is mileage. My '94 had 20,000 km before I switched odometers, and because of the difference with the replacement, it shows 14,000 miles too low. (Have 48,000 miles or so and live too close to work to get more quick enough.) I believe the ECM can be accessed by a dealer for true mileage (kilometer-age?)

Canadian warranties are on a "different" computer system than US warranties, so while the paperwork to get it into your name is OK, getting any work done may result in having your dealer write a letter (no email) for the warranty work blessing from Chrysler. Takes longer, but works.
