Just updating the post here.... I have been driving it as much as I could yesterday as well as taking kids niece and nephews out for a juy ride but the best was my sister-in-law who related it to a roller coaster ride. It has been a blast but felt I needed to put it away for the weekend as I was getting to heavy in the pedal for my own good. I don't want to be known as that guy who first wrecked his new Viper. The car accelerates amazingly well and the traction control keeps the car stuck to the pavement and helps in controlling the acceleration. I had it up to 125 with my friend Femi at the BMW dealership, 120 with my wife and 117 with my sister-in-law. That was in third gear, I think... Anyway, it has been a blast to drive this weekend and can't wait to get another great day when I can drive it again.
I just received my new Viper yesterday and was out driving it a couple of times. It is an ANIMAL...! Thanks to all those who helped make this car a reality. Special thanks to Steve Sharples from SRT as well as Ben Keating from Viper Exchange as they were incredibly helpful in the past year making this happen. I'm heading out for a drive and plan to post some pics later... Scott

Scott - we at SRT are glad to see that you are driving your new car (even if it is VIN 001) the way it was intended! If you want to really drive your Viper hard, you should go to a Track Day (seriously, it is way safer than racing on the street). Call me - you have my number - and keep driving your Vipers!! We run them ******* the track, so that when you choose to do so, you can know that your Viper is capable of running with the best in the World. No matter how much They cost!
