Car vacuum suggestions?

Get one of those whole house vacs and hang it in the garage. The hoses are long enough and they have super power.

Too funny. 
I was going to suggest something with a kickstarter, but that may be more power than you're looking for.

Bought a "shop vac" at Loew's. Also bought lots of attatchments. Vacuum is also wet or dry, just incase. Got almost the largest they had as the difference in the footprint is only about an inch or so different in dia.from largest to smallest. It has a 8 foot flex hose, a 3 foot straight hose, hose reducer from standard 2" dia. to I think 1". Attatchments for both sizes are plentiful. I've even vacuumed dust from light fixtures in a 10' ceiling in the house. Works great.
I still use my wet/dry shop Vac I bought 8 years ago...simple, powerful and plenty of attachments. But if ya' gotta have an uppity model, try this one: Garage Utility Vac - Clean Up - In Your Garage - Griot's Garage

I use a Rigid shop vac (wet/dry) bought from Home Depot a few years ago. It works great and has plenty of "****". They also sell the hose attachments and several filters (even hepa). I use the thing for everything around my garage.

You need a Viper Motor Powered Vacuume. Should be enough to **** the spots of a dalmation.

I have the Rigid wall mount vacuum. Great because it is out of the way mounted on the wall and easily detached to carry around if out of reach of its hose. Sears has a Craftsman model that is similar.
