With BEAUTIFUL weather - 75 and sunny, Tom Sessions started our recall event this morning, with my red, white and blue car being the first victim. Tom did both the steering rack recall and the differential mounts recall on my car and did a FABULOUS job. Kenny Hawkins was kind enough to supply his race shop for 2 days and also a master welder employed at his body shop to do the necessary welding. About 8 cars are being attended to, as well as having some other things taken care of. It's great when your Viper Tech takes his show on the road and your club members all pitch in to make the recall work go as smoothly as this has.

Big thanks to both Tom and Kenny.

I am headed back over there to check on things and bring some cold drinks. Expect to have everyone working kinda late tonight (heck, Tom has to pay for his room at board at my house) and we may even be lucky enough to have a guest appearance from Hoosier Daddy as he picks up his car and trailer.

Dinner's on the Carolinas VCA.....

After a fine dining experience and a night of luxury at Hotel Cone, Hoosier Daddy dropped Tom Sessions back off at the Race Shop for Day 2. Expect to complete several more cars today, as well as doing some windshield work, header install, fixing Bugeaters -40 degree coolant sensor, and a few miscellaneous items.

Last night, there were many Viper owners there - mostly "helping" Tom. It was like the start of a joke - "How many Viper owners does it take to remove a Borla exhaust?" Answer appeared to be 4, if anyone is counting. And it grew to 5 for the lining up of the tips....

Thanks again to all - this has helped many members and has assured a quality repair for the 998 and 999 recall.

Just now hearing about this, would've liked to have stopped by to see everybody since I was over in Raleigh yesterday evening, oh well, at least Tom already did these recalls for me :)

Yeah...I asked where you were. Everyone just figured you drove the car to Ontario or Iceland or somewhere to pick up more ice jewelery.

Hey, the ice looked nice! :)

Jeff, I can't go to Thee Doll House, every time I show up, your car is already there taking the Viper parking spot!
