Cat Delete Or?

97 GTS ... considering replacing the cat with a test pipe (below) for more power and better sound. But am wondering if anybody knows of a straight though, bullet type muffler that's bolt-in for the cat assembly. Something I can take on and off without cutting for inspection purposes? Thank you.

Sorry to thread jack, but does anybody use these? They seem like a great way to go catless and still be able to put the cats back for inpsection.

I bought some that showed up today and I plan to install tomorrow. Will report back on how easy it is as well as their fit.

I know that from previous exhaust installations, the only way to remove the originals is with a sawzall

Can anyone else chime in? The website say you can temporarily remove the cats. If you have to cut them out, how temporary is that?

I have a 2002 and the cats are welded in on the front of the cat, slip fit rear or exit of the cat. Also the front is welded right at end of the curve of the 90 coming from the header not much room. If you do a search for exhaust I am sure there is a picture of the stock cats somewhere.
