Central Florida Vipers Drag Racing Thursday

A group of Central Florida Vipers are going to descend upon Bradenton dragway Thursday night. The Orlando Vipers are going to leave in a caravan from Macedo Motorsports around 3 pm tomorrow. There will be two or three supercharged vipers and some nitrous vipers going as well. Bradenton is a good track and generally you can get as many runs as you want. If anyone is interested call Larry Macedo at 407-246-6511.

Suffice it to say, I did see a Viper run 10.9 that night. I'll let him fess up if he wants.

I just made a couple passes for kicks. I did horrible. I ran a Lightning each time. He smoked me off the line but I was realing him in at the 1/8 and couldn't believe how fast I passed him at the 1,000' mark.

The Neon of Lee Saunders is the latest project of BTR Performance.

Stock it ran 14.20's. and dynoed 211 RWHP

With our new 3" Exhaust system and 3" High Flow cat, it makes 230+ rwhp and runs 13.80's at 101 mph. Problem is too much wheel spin now with added power.

Next it is going to receive some turbo mods and NOS/Propane Injection. Should be in the 11's real soon. Not bad for a 4 cylinder!

Check our website shortly as our SRT/4 section is being completed and will include dyno sheets, time slips, products and pricing.

Come this Thursday .... you can get many runs in, as many as 10 -14 . They open gates @ 6:00pm - 11:00pm, cost is $10.00 to watch an addational $ 5.00 to run your car. If you run faster than 13 seconds, you must wear helment... even stock Viper will run in mid 12's. Look forward to seeing you there!

Hey Cudaman.

Seriously you can get it 10+ runs in just 4 hours? What do they get only 75 or so people? At St. Pete and Orlando you are lucky to get 3 or 4 runs the times I went with even a longer time to go.
