Certificates to buy 2003?

Someone told me that you have to have some certificate as a preowner of a Viper in order to buy a 2003. That the certificate comes with every new Viper sold. I assume that the 2003 is sold out already but WDIK?

This person told me the certificate alone was worth money and if I had one I could sell it?


Is this BS or ?

The "certificate" was to be presented to the Dodge dealer months ago to mark the intent to purchase the new Viper. This certificate was issued in the name of the original Viper owner (assuming they still owned the car). So, a certificate at this point seems mostly useless!!

Ok...so if I buy a new 2002 and the guy claims this certificate is valuable....it's BS....correct?

He's telling me I can sell it on eBay for BIG $$$$$

all of the 03's are gone.. the certificate is worthless unless they decide to give first dibs on the 04's to cert holders..

Tell him to take those BIG $$$$ off the 2002 and he can keep the certificate himself since it's so valuable!!

I just bought a 2002 Viper a couple of months ago and did not get and certificate.
