Have a chance tomorrow to take a few wide open(if I want to) laps at the KY speedway. I am new to this car. How confident can I be that it hold in the corners and handles the track well. Straight stock. :usa: Any advice?

Tell me when you will be running. I will try to make it to watch. I am in Cincinnati. The speedway is like 45min or less from me.

Sorry I don't know what time. I am going there to be the pace car for 1500 Bikes who are attending the Bike a thon for March of Dimes. I was told that if I took one of the Speedway personnel with me they would let me do a few hot laps. Since I only know this car (and Vipers) for a little over 3oo miles and since 2 responders have warned me off, I think I will not do the hot laps and whimp out. I would like to get together with some CN Viper owners and do a lunch one weekend and look at your cars. I have questions about mods, exhaust etc.. [email protected] :usa:

Just got back. I had 2 laps (under supervision) had to follow the lap truck. Got up to 90 or so. Heck, my GTS wasn't even out of 4the gear! Anyway it was a cool experience and after the Richard Petty driving experience(avg speed 139.9MPH.) it felt like I was crawling! Cool to see 1500 motor bikes and their interesting riders! All for a good cause, March of Dimes!!!! I hear on 11-4 a Viper club is coming to the track!! I can't wait.

Congrats on your track venture...I'm sure it was hard to hold that puppy back...but probably a wise choice given the amount of concrete wall !! You REALLY need to run at Viper Days...GREAT program, GREAT FOLKS...much to learn about car and track(s). Check with the Ohio Club officers to see if they "help" defray expenses for a "rookie" driver in the Viper Days Safety Course. The Ind/Ky Region had FIVE Viper driver "rookies" at Putnam Park last weekend...all had a blast ...AND got a $615.00 weekend for $207.50 AFTER Courtney applied HER "rookie status" 50% off for the Safety Course and our Club paid Viper Days another $100.00 on behalf of each "rookie" in the name of Viper driving SAFETY.

Good luck, enjoy the Fall weather, and feel free to join us at our events.

Please contact me about the Speedway!

I would appreciate anyone who can give me help and information concerning a few laps at the Kentucky Speedway. I have a 2001 GTS ACR that would enjoy some excercise at the speedway.
My dream would be to make a couple of laps. I promise to keep it off the wall! Please email me with any info.
