Welcome to the SECOND charity auction benefiting the Luke Air Force Base MWR Fund and supporting the VCA's activities during the upcoming Viper vs. Viper event at the base March 23-25.

Funds from the VCA will be used throughout the next 18 months to help the MWR Fund provide free family nights and customer appreciation events at various activities, free festivals and concerts, giveaways, and much more. Won't you help support the VCA's effort by bidding on these wonderful items?

This second auction item is a BRAND NEW set of high flow cats for your Viper! Random Technology and PartsRack have generously donated THE BEST high-flow catalytic converters available for the Viper today. These Stainless with metal honeycomb substrate high-flow catalytic converters are used in Europe by V-10 supertuners whose names you would recognize. The winning bidder can choose a set of converters for any generation of Viper, be it Gen I, Gen II, or Gen III!

With a retail value as high as $700.00, we have set the starting bid at just $100.00 - including free shipping right to your door! (International shipping may vary). Bid increments of $20.00 please. A few other rules:

1. VCA MEMBERS ONLY are allowed to bid. Sorry gang, but this is one of the privileges of membership and was actually requested by the vendors. If you are not a registered VCA member your bid will be removed.

2. This auction and all other charity auctions for the MWR Fund will end at 11:00pm EST on Wednesday, March 21st. That's 10:00pm CST, 9:00pm MST, and 8:00pm PST. Now there is an exception to that end time and it is:

3. If a bid is received within the last 15 minutes of the auction end, the auction will remain open for 15 minutes beyond that last bid. And this will continue until there are no bids placed for 15 minutes (and after the official time has expired). In other words, bid now and bid high: Trying to "snipe" at the end won't work here. :D

4. Shipping is included at no additional charge to the lower 48 contiguous US states. Other international locations will vary.

5. Cash, money orders, and most major credit cards will be accepted (VISA, Mastercard, American Express, & Discover).

6. All items are guaranteed brand-new and include the standard parts warranties.

Again, this is for a GREAT cause and helps support military families while immediate family members are deployed overseas and elsewhere. Please show them just how generous the Viper Family can be and pick up an awesome set of brand new Random Technology high-flow cats in the process! Remember, starting bid of $100 and $20 increments thereafter please.

Our thanks to Random Technology and PartsRack for this very generous donation. Be sure to visit PartsRack for more great Viper goodies and stay tuned to this forum for more incredible auction items!

Eldon,

If you are not a VCA member you bid does not count. Hopefully you are, but just checking.

Good catch John. It would appear this process will catch a few accounts that just have not been updated. Eldon is a paid up member so I just updated him. Anyone who is NOT a paid up member we will delete the bid.

Hey Fred,

Your turn to get dumped like I did!

Let me know if you want to try another driving school at one of next year's Viper Days events and we'll put it on the calendar and start promoting it early.

Thanks for your efforts at BW last weekend.

Okaaay, fully expecting some last minute bids we did some thinking as to how to eliminate any snafus. Not wanting to be checking time zones all over the world as to how they relate to the Eastern time zone where your two loyal moderators live and being a tad wary of any arguments relating to computer clocks we have decided to lay down a "marker" post in each thread to show the approximate last half hour of the auction starting. I say again approximate as I can't type in all threads at the same time and my goal is to lay down a "marker" post prior to the last 15 minutes of the auction starting. AND in order to eliminate ANY confusion as to what time it is when you post we have linked a computer to the Atomic Clock at the Naval Acadamy Observatory to be our final check. All auctions will be open in windows at the same time on that computer linked to that clock so do NOT believe YOUR computer OR your Rolex and once again if the intent was to bid late and snipe give yourself some extra time and go big if you really want the item. It is for a good cause.
