I understand it's a stupid reason to not buy a Porsche but I refuse to buy a car that has a clutch just like a VW bug. It's just plain WRONG!

Porsche makes some great cars but I've never been a fan. Styling *****, motor is small and sounds horrible.

Just because the Boxster is a great looking car retrostyled on the 550, doesn't make the GT ordinary. I'm sure if the few of us here are lucky to even see one, we will change our opinion. Look at all that carbon fiber!

For 400,000, it should be more than 4 TIMES the car the SRT is, but its not, at least performance wise. Maybe its built better, or maybe its more exclusive, but the performance level doesn't justify the price.
But once you leave the practical issues of this earth, and become entranced by the beauty of the heavenly objects out past Jupiter, it doesn't matter what it cost, its in another league that needs no justification, its just a work of art!

It's technologically impressive and if I had 3 or 4 Vipers already and 5-10 other super cars and still had $400K, I'd buy one.

This is a car I'd buy my mother when she's 70.
Seriously, okay, performance and stuff... It's a supercar. If I pay that much it SHOULD be a bit faster than a V-Tech Civic. But hey, cars that are designed by that guy... What was his name again? Wind Tunnel? Anyways, are just ugly. Where's the emotion? Where's the beauty? This is again, truely a dentists car... Why can't they build 917's or 935's again?

I saw it in Essen, in Frankfurt and on the road a few weeks ago. Tell you, if there was a Viper next to it, no one would regognize the Porsche.

I saw one at the St Pete Festival of Speed earlier this year. It didn't get near the attention one might think. In fact, I was there all day and I didn't see it get any more attention than the other Volkswagons it was parked with.
