guys i took these this evening, i think it shows the hoops much better. also as
far as install 3 steps to take out / 3 steps to install.

(1) pop out plate behind seat which says VIPER
(2) unscrew 2- 1/2" bolts about 3"long
(3) grab hoop and pull up

NOTE*** YOU DO NOT HAVE TO REMOVE BACK PANEL

to install reverse above :2tu:

also we need to see if MGW could make them for less - i might call george on this

enjoy the pics - in person it looks even better :2tu:

George, in the event that you are listening…

…how about making a stainless hoop that’s the same shape and the OE rubber hoop (squared off on top). I don’t think the round hoops integrate well with the squared off seat tops. Build a steel hoop that’s squared off like the seat tops and I’ll be first in line.

The chrome looks really nice but that shape looks similar to the hoops on an Audi TT convertible:

You must be registered for see images

I think what would look best would be the stock shape in chrome. The stock hoops just seem more muscular and better a match for a Viper.

Nice pictures but I really do not like the round version of these hoops . I prefer to maintain the factory squared off look so I am going to work on a polished stainless steel prototype this week. If anyone is interested in these plaese email me at [email protected] so I can get a feel for how much interest there is and how many I would need to make.

Yep, agree...make them squared off....I may be in if the price is right.

Agreed as well. And these work on the silver car, but I am not so sure they would look as good on any other color (maybe..... black, if you have a lot of other chromey accents.)
