How much are they? How do they benefit?

I just got them also. I got the black instead of red. You also don't need the clamps any longer

Do they really add HP? Or just "pretty"? Some say that they are not good at disappting heat, use silicone (rubber) ones instead. Comments?

I think that they gave better flow to the engine.
the hoses(rubber) are slightly smaller, thus no reducers needed
these are larger so more air.
