Hi, I've been following everyone's posts on the "Cincinnati Activities" thread, and the constant search for new get-togethers. I wanted to extend an invitation to everybody to a local fund raising car show on April 18 at La Salle High School. Last year there was a diverse turnout of domestics and imports which raised money for a missions trip to Honduras. Two Vipers were present last year, so I thought maybe we could break that record this year! Here is all the information:
When: Sunday, April 18th, 2004
Where: La Salle High School Parking Lot (3091 North Bend Road. Cincinnati, Ohio 45239)
Time: 11:00am-4:30pm (Awards at 4:00)
Admission: $10 Registration Fee and Spectator Admission is free! Pre-registration forms can be picked up and turned in at the main office of La Salle High School. Pre-registration will also be taking place from 11:00am-12:30pm the mornign of the show.
Awards: A panel of judges will be giving away trophies for Best Domestic, Best Import, Best Classic, Most Outrageous Ride, and Best of Show!
Proceeds: The money raised by the La Salle Car Show will benefit the annual Summer Mission Trip for La Salle and MaCauley High Schools. Each year a select few senoirs and juniors from La Salle and MaCauley travel to a region of the world which is economically less fortunate than our own. Once there students then help tutor local children and donate their time and efforts to making the community a better place. Last year the La Salle Car Show raised $2,000.00 for the students mission to the slums of Honduras. Please help make the La Salle Car Show another huge success for this very worthy cause.
