HI there,

I've got about a 1/2 dozen coats of Zaino on the snake and have some buildup on the paint. I think I parked under a tree and some small sap particals left their mark on my paint. ughh. Feels really gritty.
Anyways, I would like to clay bar the car again and was wondering if that will remove the previous coats of Zaino.. Hope not.

Anyone know?

As I understand it, claybar will remove any previous wax and polish. Sal told me to take a 100% cotton towel and some WD 40 and see if that will remove the sap(or tar in my case), then wash the car with Z-7 and your back in business. Either finish with Z-6 or put on another coat of Z-2 or Z-5. Hope this helps!

I asked Sal the same thing via email and he stated that the clay bar if used sparingly(one time) will NOT remove the polish.Sal,can you please respond to this inquiry?
