cleaning aluminum wheels?

What are you using to clean and protect your aluminum wheels?

OEM? if still have clear coat on them, then soap/water, follow up with wax or wheel wax.

Keep it simple... A good car wash soap and water... Dry them good... I use air to get the water out from gaps. A good coat of spray wax to a micro rag and your all set.

Yes they are 08 OEM wheels. They just don't have a real bright shine in my opinion.

post up a few pics. hit 'em with a clear coat safe polish. Are those the "durabrite" finish? ( i think that's what it's called-been a lot of discussion on those)

They likely never will...I'm not sure what the exact finishing process is on them, but they will never shine as bright as a non-clear coated polished aluminum wheel, and certainly not as bright as chrome.

Yea, I think that's about as shiny/reflective as they'll get. May want to try some clearcoat safe polish. That should make 'em "pop" a bit more.
