How many mile can you expect from a clutch under normal VIPER driving conditions.
I know know this is a relative question and I'm not looking for an exact number.
I'm just looking for some experiences.
Thank you,
TJ

I have 11000 on my car an no problems. I've had other cars with over 100K and no problems, and I am ******* cars. It's all the way you handle the clutch.

Although most people feel rental Vipers are overabused pieces of junk, it hasn't been in an accident, doesn't have a rip in the seats, a door ding or curb damage and still has the original clutch at 34k...........

Mine (99 GTS) went for 12,000 miles and a few road course track days before feeling soft and slippy and engaging out at the of the travel. I'm not too ******* the car and was surprised that the clutch was gone so soon.

Anyway, Dodge covered the labor under warranty and I paid for the parts. I put in a kevlar clutch and aluminum flywheel while I was at it.

Replaced mine at 22,500. It was just about shot. While in there, if you drive road courses, put in a lightweight flywheel. Not a huge difference, but noiceably crisper accel. through the rev range. Also go ahead and replace the slave cylinder, pressure plate and maybe even master cylinder.

Going through the large number of Vipers we do every year , the one item that seems virtually bulletproof is the clutch. I can not honestly even remember when we last changed one. I know alot of guys/gals who are on the track alot, and are still on the original clutch.

26K miles, pics below per request, from my website (link in sig). Also does anyone know if this is a normal looking flywheel & clutch (burn marks?) I replaced the flywheel with Roe Racing AL and used the stock replacement clutch.
