Due to work commitments this year, my wife and I had only put 30 or so miles on our '04 prior to the Viper Invades Niagara trip.
I got the car ready for the trip, pulled it out of the garage to load it up and noticed a puddle of "oil" the size of a small saucer on the floor under the car. I thought this great. After checking all the levels, I noticed that the clutch master cyl resevoir was low on fluid.
Well I wasn't goint to be able to fix it, so I packed a bottle of brake in the car with us and off to "Canadia" we go.
Made the whole trip on a pint of brake fluid, and the day after we got back, I went to move the car and no clutch and a really big puddle on the floor.
The car is at the dealer now getting repaired.
Is a slave cylinder failure common or is this a fluke. The car an '04 had 6100 miles before the trip.
thanks
