Cold/Hot Knob not working

The temperature control doesn't seem to be working. It blows cold all the time, even when turned all the way to the right, in the red.

I'm glad the A/C is working as opposed to the heater, but it would be nice if both worked...

Any ideas?

Look under the hood on passenger side near windshield there is a black cable ....fallow it to the end,at the is a loop. Place it on top a pin or lever sticking up.... this lever is the heater control valve. Problem will be fixed.

If I recall correctly the "blend" feature does not work in the Viper (search old threads regarding this). As long as the AC is on ---COLD is all you get....

If you have the AC selected, you only get cold. You can put it on the setting that blows toward the windshield and feet at the same time (defrost/heat setting) then the hot/cold switch will work. It will usually start blowing hot air right away, but leave it on and cooler air will follow. It will only come out by the windshield and feet though, it will not come out of the AC vents.

I am not sure if all Vipers work this way or not, but mine does.

As long as the AC is running, that control serves no useful purpose. Go figure!

thermostat only works on htg mode. A/C is either on or off only no adjustments available.
