Does anyone have experience with Hagerty, Grundy, or any other collector car insurance? I just applied with Grundy to see if they approve my vehicle.

I have the Barrett Jackson endorsed insurance with Chartis. Good price, great coverage, and agreed value.

I also checked with both but went with Grundy,,, Hagerty wouldnt insure mine because I have a teenager at home,,, guess that really scares 'em... not like he'd ever be allowed to drive it anyways but Grundy price also ended up lower....

Yeah, Hagerty is twice as much. Not sure why. I did get some conflicting info if "pleasure cruising" is permitted. After doing more research, it is in the application under the "USE" section that is is allowable. Just not for errands or daily driving duties. I didn't know if any of you had made a claim with Grundy and how the experience was.

I have my antiques through Hagerty but they wanted twice as much as State Farm where I have my normal everyday vehicles.

I am looking into changing my insurance to an "agreed value" plan. They all have a clause stating: Coverage does not apply to "on track" events". How does that work if you go to a VCA event such as an autocross or any other track event? Do you have to buy supplemental coverage for those events?

I went with Hagerty for the Viper and my BMW Isetta a few months back. Grundy wouldn't insure me unless I insured all of my cars with them.

I have the same issue. My regular auto insurance is about half the price of Hagerty. All my other collectibles are with Hagerty though.
