Color combo attached to VIN????

Just want to make sure before i go through with everything that my car is everything it is suppose to be. Anywhere I can check the VIN to make sure the color is correct? It is a 98 silver with blue stripes. Just want to make sure the stripes are original.

Not in the VIN, but you can look at the paint code on the drivers door sticker.
