Thanks Joe,

I think it would look much better in a Photo shop "real life"
setting like the White or Yellow versions in this thread.

Thanks again for posting that pic though.

White never lasted long or sold many Corvettes over the last few years. Why do white when everyone here wants yellow?

I'll be happy with red. My favorite color for a sports car.

The blue in Joe's post above looksd great. I could do a blue '04.

I'd also like to hear a hardtop update, if there is one.

All right all you WHITE haters! Here is why they have to do white (and BTW no one said no yellow, just that white is more likely at this point):

1- They have NEVER produced a white Viper (stripes do not count) yet they have had yellow on two occasions and in two variations.
2- The white we saw is NOT PEARL (I had a super white 300 and the wife had pearl white and yes the pearl gets dingy looking)but rather a very bright version of white.
3- White could help the look of a Vett (even though I would personally say that a White Vett is as good as they get).
4- Some of us have been asking for a white Viper for more than 10 years, so those in need of yellow can wait!

I guess I need to also preface that there was just a yellow viper just last year, so why keep pushing the same color. At least if you need a yellow Viper you can get a used one to tie you over until they produce a yellow SRT/10. For those of us in NEED of a White Viper, all we can do is buy a Viper and have a body shop paint it. What's fair is fair, and the time is now for white!!!!!!!!

Thanks for posting the Blue versions.

Wasn't the "very first viper" pure White? I'm sure I saw the
White concept version at the Barrette/Jackson show.

I would think they would make the most popular colors first?

Red, Black, Silver, Yellow, BLUE!!!, then work their way upto

white, charcoal, graphite, green, ect.

Anybody able to find the old poll results on Colors for the
SRTs ??????

I'd buy a Super White Coupe with Blue Stripes though!

A great compramise!

Steve F: I sincerely hope you get your white Viper in '04.

I doubt I'll have a problem getting a Red one for myself. I would definetly get one if Dodge ever brought back the Cobra Blue they did in (96-97?)for the GTS. Classic color. My knowledge of Viper color/years combos is limited.

Guys who want yellow...remember your history, 2003 was announced by Dodge as red, silver, graphite...two guys..the honorable Jerry DeYoung from the great state of California and I started a small uproar on this board about having black as a better choice than graphite. A poll resulted and DC (amazingly) changed their minds and black is here! Looks good too! So for those of you who want yellow, start a poll! It worked before. I DO think the white looks killer though! If only we could get the cognac interior back with a matching colored top, which would look equally stunning on the red, black, yellow and silver cars. Craig, can you photoshop a white or yellow or red car with cognac interior and matching top, heck, just do the top.

Joe I believe the paint code for the white maybe SBF. Anyways, I think the orange rendition looked great. Build Orange, Orange, Orange..... like Craigs photoshop rendering (it looked like an orange pearl). The white is definately not pearl.

Now that CAAPs supplier has the capability to change color every 100 cars produced, theoretically 10 different colors/year are possoible! Assuming 1000 cars/year produced.

That would be 15 colors at 1500 per year? Not likely. The yearly changes are for being unique and exclusive. I say they drop red, black and silver next year, and do yellow (with or without black stripes), solid white and 96 GTS blue with white stripes! Please remember, polling people can be dangerous and painful!

As for the wheel question, I did not hear anything of a change? That doesn't mean it won't happen.

There is also mention above about some interior changes, I would bet you see something VERY different offered on the 2004, hint hint!

I wonder if the "interior change" for 04' would be color options
instead of just black?

Steve could then have a "tripple white" Viper! That would be
Pimpin!

First of all, my first vote is to forget the graphite. It has got to be the most ugly and unappealing color for the viper. I would have to see white in person. Although I ordered a red SRT, the black is stunning in person. Blue would be great and I would like to know when I can call Dodge for my coupe certificate for 2007! If there is going to be an "interior change" for 2004, does that mean paddle shifters?!

Charm, white it ain't, but you will be able to call me "***** the Wimp" if they build that baby!

The answer to Joe's trivia is: ***** Boy Ferguson = SBF White.

Next we'll need an interior color poll!

If Dodge is considering a great option similar to the Connolly cognac leather offering, how about a more neutral beige, biscuit or gray color please instead of

Gosh Dr Bob, It seems like you don't like graphite on the Viper, but it might be a more accurate statement if you just phrased it that way. Color is a personal preference, and there is no absolute good or bad, only opinion & popularity. I have settled for red as the least of three evils on my Viper on order. It is my opinion that the change to black was not because of the poll here, but because the poll gave Herb the ammunition he needed to overrule the original color selections and add the black that he personally preferred. The color change had far more to do with internal politics than it did with the poll here.

I really hope that the multiple color scheme plan does go through as it would allow our many varied personalities to all get a color they really love, without having to drop a brown helmet on someone elses preference.

I would also suggest that if there is a color poll to be had, it should be done in a manner that is statistically significant. DC could easily send a poll to all registered Viper owners with a list of colors and a ranking system from first to last choice. The top five colors could then be the rotational colors with demand deciding the various production volumes.

Just my opinion of course.

SRTRICK,

I stand corrected and apologize for my earlier commentary. It is my personal opinion that graphite/dark grey does not do justice to the lines of the car. If you look at the DC SRT brochure that we recieved this week, there is a picture(I think) of an SRT in grey/graphite(not silver) in a group of other vipers cruising down a highway. I agree it would be a great idea to do a series of colors(limited edition?) during the production year.
