Viperholics,

As you will see, I am no professional photographer. For a cheap $200 digital camera on low-res, not too bad. These are the photo's of the PVO Comp. Coupe from Viper Days (Mid-Ohio). Enjoy!!!

P.S.- Yes, it was fast!!! Yes, it sounded realllll nice!!

I'm so glad that I'm the first to say, "WOW"!!!! That's the most awesome car ever! PERIOD!

Now if that car doesn't scream Viper - I don't know what does! I feel cheated because that cars not being produced for the street!

Not sure about the plywood....

Although, different sections of the car looked 'kit car', if you know what I mean. The rear of the car looked very 'unrefined' (look closely at the one pic of rear). From my understanding, this car was there for testing purposes. Many changes were being made, etc... A test mule. Overall shape of the car was stunning. I'm sure the fine detail will be worked out. After seeing it in person for the first time, I still think I like the shape of the Gen II GTS the best. Although, it's almost a coin toss. Both are AWESOME....

Yes, the front splitter was plywood. This is PVO's second test mule car. It was loaded with lots of Data Aquisition wiring as PVO was their to test suspension and reliability. They are now testing hard to see what the car needs to refine the setup and work on any bugs.
All in all the car was pretty impressive and looked like it was as fast as the front running VRL cars. Certain items where missing, yes, the carbon fiber splitter and the cockpit adjustable roll bars I did not see either. They are also about to add an adjustable wing instaed of the fixed wing. PVO is improving the car day to day now.

When I looked closely that rear wing was adjustable. The end brackets were stationary but the middle section could pivot some from all the holes drilled into the mountings on the rear of the wing. Pictures shown at the banquet showed a wing similiar to the style most widely used now.
