Cool Shot from Illinois Club Meet

EDIT: Guess I screwed up...I saw "photos" so I posted here but this is def not a Competition Coupe in action. Maybe one of the mods can move it to the Illinois Regional area.

Hey guys, I stumbled upon the Illinois Monthly Club meet and was blown away at the presence they have. I do not own a Viper (maybe one day) but I wanted to share the pic I took. It was VERY impromptu like I said so the quality isn't that great and I was sort of in a rush because everyone was about to start leaving.

Since I don't have privileges I was hoping somebody could get this to the Illinois Region guys since the main reason I joined here was to share it with the owners. I would appreciate it.

Here's the pic (only about half of the Vipers are in shot...there were WAY more off camera.)

I also snuck my car in the shot, which has been mistaken for a Viper on more than one occasion...how? I don't know but they do share similar lines. 93 Mazda RX-7

Set the camera to night shot and the cars should be more visible for next time you take pics at night. It does require you to hold the camera steady a little bit longer cause the shutter takes longer to let more light in.

We don't have near the most members, but I can say from experience being a member and it's leader... this group is B.E.Y.O.N.D. passionate. They love the car and they'd give anything for each other. We have a great culture. They love the club as much as the car and they're proud of it.

Fantastic turnout. We usually have around 50 Vipers at our Crab Feast here in MD. It's quite a site!

Nice pics. I saw you take these pics with the tripod setup and was wondering why you still had the flash on. Next time try them at night set-up without the flash. They will turn out much better.

looks like i missed a good turn out, last meeting I was only 1 of a handful that showed up with their cars.
Hopefully i'll be able to make the next one. Did you guys go for a cruise after the meeting?

No cruise after the meeting - a couple of us went to Tilted Kilt on Randall however. We could plan the same next month.

I have a feeling that we're going to hit 60 Vipers at least once at our meetings this year. I know a few people, including myself, who haven't been able to go yet this year...we will see!
