Coolant Question

I have the 2004 srt 10 model. My question is where should the fluid level be in the coolant reservoir?

The owners manual says between the min. and max when the engine is hot but all I see is a cold fill line on the reservoir tank.

Should I fill it to that line when the engine is cold or should I check it when the engine is hot and make sure the coolant is in the middle of the reservoir?

Right now the coolant stays in the middle of the tank wheather the engine is hot or cold.

The car runs at 200 degrees most of the time. It was a very hot day yesterday and the car was running between 200 and a little above(guessing 210) before the fans kicked on. Is that normal?

The a/c was off, I was driving with the top down just enjoying the sun, LOL.

Anyway, I just wanted to know if that was the normal temperature for a Viper and any info will be much appreciated.

I always just fill them to the top, then run the car until full temp. Extra coolant will be pushed through the cap out the vent tube, and it will set its own level when it pulls air back in as it cools.
