Hi all! Long time member here, 1st post in over 10 years!
What type of coolant is everyone using in there older vipers? I am thinking of moving the the amber long life stuff. Is this a bad idea? (I have a '96 RT/10)

I'm not an expert, but I have a 94 RT-10 with 15K miles and after a lot of research decided to go with the Auto Zone green anti-freeze/coolant mixed 50/50.

I use Dex-cool in my 96 after doing some research. However, shortly after getting mine 2 years ago, I overhauled the cooling system (new radiator, new hoses, new water pump, gaskets). During that process, i switched to Dexcool.

See this thread.

I also have a C5 Z06, so it simplifies coolant for me. It's cheap and readily available around here.

I think the most important part is replacing it every 2 years.
