Corsa and K&N mod, will that be good enough for now?

Hi all,

I've just purchased the Corsa exhaust system and the K&N air-filter kit(the one with the carbon fiber box holding the 2 cones). It's on the way and can't wait to get them. Now my question is: Will these 2 mods be good enough for a normal driver like me? Normal driver means i don't goto tracks at all and i only drive the car in city or highway. This is the first time I've purchased the complete exhaust system for the Viper. On my previous silver GTS, I only took out the resonator in the back and changed the tip to make it sounds better and put in the K&N airbox. Any input is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That's a question you'll have to answer yourself.....

When you get used to the extra minimal HP you gained, my bet is you'll be buying some headers, etc.

Phil, these questions should be asked and answered BEFORE you buy a system, not after! The best answer: maybe. Since you are on your 2nd Viper, and HP is not the goal, I bet you will be happy! 4 basic systems SOUND different, produce varying HP numbers, cost $1100 - $1595 new, and even look a bit different.

You'll need smooth tubes as well, available very cheap, check with JonB or on a recent thread about them and k&n's
