Hello, I'm new here, I'm waiting to get my new Viper, and I cant wait to modd the sucker
supergrin.gif
I'm going with smooth tubes and a catback right off the bat. I want to know which catback is more aggressive and has the better hp gain ? From my experience with Vettes Borla has always been louder and Corsas always had the better workmanship. Thanx guys

Mike I'm looking for the most hp and sound improvement possible without sacrificing quality as well. I guess you can say I want it all

. I do plan on doing headers as well

I have had all 3 on my 3 vipers and the B&B are my favorite by far. They have an incredible idle sound and acceleration is verry aggresive.

Borla's are more noise than quality sound. Corsa's are nice but just a little to quiet for me.

Ive heard em all on vipers and in many diff combos. i chose the corsa with hiflo cats and stock headers; best quality products and sounded best combo (IMHO). and as far as HP i figured for the sound diff it isnt worth the few HP that headers would give, ill just make up for it with a SC and NOS

Unlike many other cars the Viper has a terrible drone in it's exhaust, that's the big problem. The Corsa is the ONLY cat back to eliminate/greatly reduce this drone.

I like it loud, so Borla or the Mopar is what I'm leaning towards. I would like to hear the B&B's though, I had them on my vette and liked them.

Lots of good ideas here. I'm wondering based on dyno # which system puts out the most? I guess I should hear all the symtems before buying this time. I say that because I went through 2 exaust systems on the Vette

Mike,
Welcome, and remember the first mod leads to the next mod, and so on and on and on.
Do a search for exhaust systems here, as more has been discussed about this than probably any other topic.
CORSA 3" Cat Back.

What do you want ? If you want loud their are other choices other than Borla. Are you going to do headers? Mopar has cool tips and is made by Borla. B&B is loud and music to some peoples ears. Corsa if very quiet at idle but get rid of cabin vibrations. It is all personal preferance.

I love your color choice. It looks like I wont be buying any catback just yet. I want to hear and see them all first.

I was told that if you have a crossover pipe in front of the muffler installed, it'll eliminate the resonation of the Borla exhaust system. Is this true ??

I have the B&B 3". I get a lot of compliments on the sound.

Adam, everytime someone experiences the sound of your B&Bs
and you ask them how they like it, their answer is always "WHAT?". I personally have had to replace two good shirts that have been in tatters after standing too close(within 15 feet) of the rear of your car during a 6000 rpm startup.
You should tell the story of your interruption of the band after drinks a few weeks ago. I think the band member with the parking problem is still trying to hear the cords on his guitar. Ha.
