Just looking for some honest opinions on cosmetic mods I just made to my gen 3.

Had the wheels powder-coated gloss black (dirty in the pics) and the windows and lights tinted dark.

Im happy with the wheels and glass tint, but I'm still not sure about the lights. Maybe too much black?

After talking with some guys on here I opted for the tint film on the lights instead of paint, in case I want to go back to stock. Would prob look better if I went with the paint...

I'm not a huge fan of all black anything, so it's a bit much for me, but if you like it, just roll with it for a while. Like you said, you can put it back to stock if you wish...I'm a big fan of reversible mods.

I like it. I think it looks mean but I love blacked out anything. I would suggest lowering the car, add a 08 hood, and maybe a splitter.

If you were to keep it, get a plate that says NINJA. The blacked out headlight thing is stupid in my opinion. Back in college I did that and the lights were of hardly any sure at night. Let the lights and markers accent the car and take the tint off.

I'm old I guess. Seems to lose some of its' lines..... I like everything you've done, especially the gloss black wheels. I would take the headlights and tails back to stock. Two reasons, safety and less risk of being pulled over by NY/CT's finest.....

Lastly, I'd suggest Viper Red---but black will just have to suffice:)

I agree with everyone else, I like the wheels and window tint, but the headlight/tails/reverse light tint needs to come back off. But it is your ride! Nice!

Any pictures without the tinted lights? I think it is well done but just maybe too much black for me. Everything seems to blend together in the pictures. Then again I've never been a huge fan of tinted headlights / taillights. But maybe give it a while to see how you feel since you can always remove it later. Nice car though!

To me it just looses all distinction as a Viper FWIW.

+1, good point. I like my Viper looking like a VIPER:2tu:

I never liked those stock wheels and painting them black makes them look even more crappy&cheap IMO.

Have you considered the Factory 6-spokes? They look nice chrome on a black car:

They look even nicer in person and on a car that is lowered a bit:2tu:

Black on black looks great except for the lights. Maybe just a very light 5 or 10% tint on the lights. Otherwise good choices

Blacked out lights and plate cover would get me ticketed in a heart beat in my state.

The only lights I like blacked out are the reverse lights. And I'm NEVER a fan of 10 spokes...polished, black anything. They are just heinous

I like the murdered out look. Welcome to the club. I noticed the fire truck in the pics. If you are a fireman, Thank You for all you do.:usa::usa:

Much better. Get rid of the black tint on the lights. As said a million times above, it's dangerous and makes the car look cheaper in my opinion.

Everything else looks great!

Love it blacked out...all but the headlights. Looses its lines with the headlights blacked out. Id lower it as well, and an 08 hood would look great imo.
