I don't like most of you. For this, against that, faster, no maybe not, but he said..... Most of you guys don't get it as far as I'm concerned and I am sure you really don't give a flying F regarding my opinion.

Your opinion sux. You will find that judging the entire group within a TWO WEEK period is just plain ignorant. The rest of the internet world will welcome you and your opinions even more harshly than this very tame site. By the way, that's what makes the internet so great, everyone can express what they are for and against. Too bad we don't all bow down and worship you! Me ME mE Me.

Mopar426 -dont buy a Viper you are a typical Vette guy

Guess you didn't read my post because I can't stand most Vette owners but no big deal. And need not worry I will be buy one in the near future but won't be self absorbed into the narrowminded Viper "lifestyle". I've been around cars my entire life w/ my father owning a classic car resto shop and I'll tell you there are pricks in every car group no matter the make or model.

Anyway.... what I love about of the real subject of this post is all the attention the coupe is getting because of the Z06 release. If the coupe was released without the z06 around it would have been noted in the mags as just a hard top version of the vert. They would have used old Srt 10 test data in the coupe write up and that would be it. Now it will be front page news how outstanding the coupe will be in all categories and in limited numbers will probably help the coupe sell out this year. Smart move by DC that is for sure.
Even smarter is if they tweak the coupe and have the results show up in the mags. Remember they did raise the HP and torque on paper, that gives them the opportunity to better the numbers. Cant wait for the results. jmho

Shame on you all. I don't need or want this crap in my life. I own a 2004 turbo cabriolet and a SRT-10. I have owned in the past C-5's, C-4's, many C-3's and a 57. I still own a 66 427 roadster. As many of you, I have had numerous bikes, muscle cars and sports cars. I like them. I like them a lot. Went for a top down cruise today just to get my head together after a few challanges I have on a few apt. complexes I own in the South. My wife and I took the Porsche and had a great day.

I like cars. Always have and alway will. There will always be a faster, better and more desireable ones in my future and I'm 59. My next car will be a V-12 Ferrari, 575M or newer.

I don't like most of you. For this, against that, faster, no maybe not, but he said..... Most of you guys don't get it as far as I'm concerned and I am sure you really don't give a flying F regarding my opinion.

I am history. I will be calling tomorrow to give up my VCA membership. Never will I follow the lunatic threads that show up constantly on this site. Tech stuff is available from more than this source. I will be deleting my name from this site.

Most of you that participate in this site are a bunch of "richards". You can't appreciate another's point of view much less be decent to anyone that does not share your own opinion. I certainly don't appreciate yours.

I will still be going to my friends at K&N Filter to have stock and R&D data collected on my Viper. I am doing it for my interest only and if they can make a better product, so be it. My data will remain just that, my data. I will not be sharing any dyno results with members of this board or any VCA members on the simple filter tests or any other mods as I make them. I can get my own information without taking risk that one of you will start knocking my cars, ideas or suggestions, etc.

I freely admit, your cars are better than mine, you are all so much more affluent than I, and you are all better than I am in all things especially Viper. I don't belong here. You really have a neat Car Club. BFD

I am gone!

Yes. The part about not sharing his K&N data with anyone else because it's "his data" is just priceless.

I could give a crap which car is faster

You should care about which car is faster. As much as you and the Zaino queens may love the styling it's what's under the skin that makes the car, even if you never use it or appreciate it. The Viper wouldn't be squat if it came with a mediocre V8, leaf springs and puny little 245 tires.

You posers need to get on board with the performance enthusiasts or our Vipers will fade into the history books.
I confess, I am a poser. I own a Viper and don't race it. I've only had it a year and am still afraid of wrecking it epecially since I have worked real hard to get it. I didn't join the VCA because having a family puts a restraint on spare time as if having a 10-12hr a day job wasn't enough.

The truth is that I am jealous of those who race now. I respect and appreciate their tech info and other posts. Just know the main difference between racers and me is deeper pockets and more spare time (setting talent and skill aside). Beware, I am 33 and have time to catch up. My mortgage is paid and my Viper is months away also. A few years and I hope to get a second Viper for strip and track use. :headbang:

I am just as qualified to critique styling as almost anybody on this forum. Styling is what the designer uses to visually define the purpose of a car distinguishing it from other cars. Otherwise, windtunnels would be the only factor in design leaving lots of similar looking cars. Styling is why the SRT sales were not up to expectations even though It was better in many ways than the Gen II.

I just got Viper Quarterly and learned why I like he Coupe much more than I expected. It has older style RT/10 and GTS taillights and inspiration on the rear came from the Competition Coupe. The rear was a major issue with the SRT 10 and I'm glad to see the Ralph Gilles addressed the issue in the article. I really want to believe the new COO Eric Ridenour and his commitment to the Viper. I'm at least glad they are both listening to constructive criticism from the VCA. To Quote Ridenour "The one thing I've learned-Viper owners aren't shy about expressing their opinions." What kind of people did he think would buy a 500hp American Supercar? I hope he tries to appeal to the American market when it comes to the Viper and let the Gen IV have more hp than DC's darling Mercedes supercars. :usa:

MOPAR426, I feel that when you own a Viper and drive it you will understand why it is truly an American exotic. You will better understand how it feels when kids and other sports car owners gawk at your Viper in a way few cars get attention. The throttle response of the V-10 is addictive. The Viper also corners like few fast muscle cars can. I look foward to your posts when you get one.
