Creaking/Popping sound when going into driveway at angle?

When pulling into my semi-steep entrance to my driveway at an angle, my car makes a creaking,sometimes popping sound. It sounds like the frame or back window or something is loose when trying to get the car back onto even pavement.

Is this normal? Any Ideas?

Sound like a combination of chasis and driveline flex. Normal.

Normal. Mine does it a bit too on crowned roads and it changes depending on ambient temps during the year.

Try doing it in a C4 with the targa top off. Sounds like a glacier coming apart at the seams!

This is the same noise I posted about, I guess misery loves company. I took my dash apart everything was tight. I suspected the hood but have not yet looked into it.

Mine has always done it too. The only time I notice it is when turning onto my street where there is a change in angle (one road is flat other is sloped upward)

They all do it. Sounds horrible, but it's a normal thing.

And all this time I've been thinking it was my own body making
all that crunching noise.

I know the RT's were bad about it, but did not realize the coupes did it as well.
